  • A temporary checkout nonce cookie is used during the payment process and expires shortly after.
  • localStorage is used for your journal, quiz profile, and chat history. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you interact with our API.
  • Google Analytics uses cookies for anonymized traffic analysis.

6. Data Retention

  • Email subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe
  • Chat history: stored in your browser's localStorage only
  • Payment records: retained by Stripe/Beehiiv per their data retention policies
  • Analytics data: retained by Google per GA4 default settings

  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in every email
  • Clear your localStorage data at any time (Settings > Clear site data in your browser)

  • Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant Stripe via Beehiiv.
  • We do not store payment card information on our servers.
